Politicos and Jewish influencers attended the Mother’s Day brit milah of David Berel Ha’Kohen Goldman, the b’chor of Henry and Maxine Goldman, first grandson of activist Jeffrey Wiesenfeld and his wife Cynthia of Great Neck.
The brit was performed at the Young Israel of Forest Hills.
As executive assistant to Senator Alfonse D’Amato, Mayor Ed Koch, and Governor George Pataki, and a former CUNY trustee, Wiesenfeld fought for Jewish rights. His mother, Chana z”l, served in the pre-state Haganah in 1947 and in the IDF until 1954.
