Not every Jewish mother would like her child to become a journalist (a doctor, a nurse, a lawyer, a rabbi — whatever’s on the list, journalist is rarely highlighted).
But for those in our community who nevertheless desire to enter a communications profession, there are few quality opportunities that allow one to do so within a suitable enviornment in which normative halacha and hashkafah are respected.
This is why The Jewish Star’s recruitment of staff reporters is such an exceptional opportunity.
If you are interested in pursuing a career as a journalist (or you know someone who is), don’t pass this by. You’ll find details about our positions on our website (click STAR JOBS near the top right), then drop me a line or call me directly — Publisher@TheJewishStar.com, 516-622-7461 ext 291.
