Jewish Star, won a first place Rockower award for a piece about Jonathan Pollard, at the annual conference of the American Jewish Press Association last week at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. It was the 18th Rockower for Tobin, who is editor-in-chief of JNS. The news service itself won nine awards this year.
