From Great Neck to Israel

Great Necker meets Pollard

Posted

During a recent visit to Israel, Great Neck activist Dr. Paul Brody met with Jonathan Pollard at Jerusalem’s Inbal Hotel. In 2004, Brody was the first Anglo to visit Ateret Cohanim’s Beit Yonatan — dedicated to Jonathan Pollard — in the Silwan (Yeminite Village) just outside the Old City walls. During their two-hour discussion, Pollard stated: “It is clear that the galut is closing down. It is time for the Jewish People to return to their homeland before it is too late.” Pollard and Brody are pictured holding flyers for the annual Israel Day Concert in Central Park, which Brody chaired, at which the cause of the long-imprisoned Pollard was advanced. He was freed in November 2015 and moved to Israel in December 2020.
