‘Fauda’ warns that tough episodes are coming

Fans of “Fauda” are getting a heads-up before the hit Israeli drama revisits the horrors of Oct. 7.

Producers warned viewers that Episodes 7 and 8 of Season 5 contain scenes and sounds tied to the Hamas massacre that may be difficult to watch. In a social media message, broadcaster Yes said those struggling with the material can skip the episodes and return the following week without losing the overall storyline.

The new season was extensively rewritten following the attacks and filmed largely in Israel and Hungary. The series, which debuted in 2015 and is seen in 190 countries, is also streaming internationally on Netflix.

Actor Idan Amedi, a fan favorite from earlier seasons, does not appear after being seriouswly wounded while serving in Gaza.
