American Friends of Ateret Cohanim celebrated Yom Yerushalayim (28 Iyar) at the Seawane Club in Hewlett Harbor.
Ateret Cohanim (formerly the Jerusalem Reclamation Project) has been working since 1977 to fulfill the generations-old dream of securing and rebuilding a united Jerusalem by re-establishing once-thriving Jewish communities destroyed before 1967.
Ateret Cohanim assists with the educational, social and recreational needs of families they help to place in those areas.
