Student hoopsters’ fundraiser benefits Koby Mandell

Posted

HAFTR High School hosted a 3-on-3 basketball tournament to raise money for the Koby Mandell Foundation and Camp Koby on Yom Yerushalayim.

Max Rosner, a HAFTR junior, a counselor at Camp Koby last summer, arranged the event in memory of the Kedoshim a”h who were killed in the Har Nof massacre. The Koby Mandell Foundation runs summer camps and various programs throughout the year for victims of terror and their families.

Thanks are extended to Reuven Angstreich, director of the Koby Mandell Foundation; Joel Baruch from Gotta Getta Bagel in Woodmere for the hot bagels that were served for breakfast; Seasons of Lawrence for the drinks; Rabbi Nadelbach, director of Student Activities at HAFTR, for spreading the word, and Joey Hoenig and HAFTR for the use of the Hawks’s Nest.

Donations to this most worthy cause and be made at kobymandell.org
