Senior Health & Beyond Expo set for Merrick

Posted

Herald Community Newspapers and RichnerLive are hosting a summer Senior Health & Beyond Expo on Thursday, Aug. 8, at the Merrick Jewish Centre.

This free event, from 10 am to 1 pm, is dedicated to enhancing the health and lifestyle of Long Island seniors. Families and caregivers are welcome to attend.

The expo will feature more than exhibitors, including institutions whose focus includes healthcare, senior living, insurance, fitness, and financial and estate planning. Experts will provide valuable information during a panel discussion and subsequent Q&A session.

Following the panel discussion, Howard Newman performs his Jokesercise Show, a hilarious bit conceived just for seniors that combines comedy and exercise.

Each attendee will receive a goody bag, courtesy of Long Beach Assisted Living, as well as a Senior Savings Coupon Booklet, and have a chance to win door prizes and giveaways, including the Grand Prize: a $500 gift card.

Event registration includes refreshments and light-bites, hearing screenings and Mary Kay consultations, along a with one-year gift subscription to Herald Community Newspapers. Convenient free parking is provided.

Sponsorship opportunities are available and customizable to any business in support of Long Island’s senior community. For sponsorship opportunities contact Amy Amato: 516-569-400 x224.
