Salute Migdal Ohr founder

Dr. Paul Brody of Great Neck (right) recently saluted Rabbi Yitzchak Dovid Grossman (center) at Migdal Ohr’s Annual Dinner at the Espace in Midtown Manhattan. Rabbi Grossman is founder and dean of Migdal Ohr, providing education, housing, clothing, food, medical care and counseling to more than 10,000 underprivileged, impoverished and at-risk Jewish children in Israel; their graduates are doctors, lawyers, community leaders, army generals and a Knesset member. He received Israel’s Presidential Medal of Distinction last week. Brody and his wife Drora brought Rabbi Grossman to the Great Neck Jewish community in 1994 and dedicated a Bet Midrash for Yemenite students on one of the Migdal Ohr campuses in memory of Drora’s grandfather, who with his wife adopted thousands of orphans in Yemen. Also pictured is Brody’s daughter Liat. Brody is holding a photo of Grossman’s original Great Neck visit with the Brody daughters.
