A number of Jewish organizations will gather today (Monday, June 16) at 12:30 pm outside of the Israeli Consulate, at 42nd Street and Second Avenue for a prayer service and vigil for three teenagers who were kidnapped on Thursday night in Israel by a terrorist organization. One of the teens is an American citizen.

Those gathered will also hold signs reading “Bring Back Our Boys.”

Israelis launched a social media campaign on Twitter entitled #BringBackOurBoys. That hash tag was based on the recent viral #BringBackOurGirls campaign that brought international attention to the kidnapping of Nigerian school girls by a terrorist Organization.

Rabbi Avi Weiss said, “We will gather to raise our voices in prayer for the safe return of these youngsters.”

Meanwhile, everyone is encouraged to continue with Tehilim.
