Most books about dating offer advice. Not this one. Unless ‘note to self: don’t do this,’ is advice.

Remember the radio station slogan, “Love songs, nothing but love songs?” Krantz’s slogan could well be, “Horror stories, nothing but horror stories.” She skips the advice and concentrates on the worst of her 120-plus shidduch dates.

Krantz kept careful notes of her dating experiences over the years. The stories in this self-published book are funny, and so is she. It’s an enjoyable, quick read, available at Judaica stores in Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island and online at bestofmyworst.com.
