5 Towns youth slam poetic on Saturday nite

The voice of teenage writers will be heard this motzei Shabbos, at the Levi Yitzchak Library in Cedarhurst.

Young poets will share some of their work at a “writer’s block party” featuring spoken-word poetry, starting at 8 pm, at 564 Central Ave.

Levi Yitzchak Library Co-Founder and Director Lisa Hawk invites the entire community to this event, which will also feature exhibits by area youth.

“Everyone needs some inspiration to bring in the new year,” said Mrs. Hawk.
