Tu B’Shvat at Shulamith

In the tradition of the Ari and the Kabbalists of 16th century Tzfat, Shulamith Middle Division students in Cedarhurst enjoyed a Tu B’Shvat seder complete with the shivat haminim.

A PowerPoint presentation, created by Morah Chana Schwartz, explained the nuances of the holiday and the aspects of each of the minim.

The seder provided students with the opportunity to make brachot aloud and to appreciate the bounty of the Land of Israel.
