Religious representatives will join with doctors, nurses and social workers on Thursday, Oct. 22, when Calvary Hospital convenes a “Spiritual Care Day” in Manhattan.
The CEU (Continuing Education Unit) event is billed as a consideration of “multicultural competencies and spirituality in end-of-life care.”
Calvary Hospital brings compassionate, expert care to terminally ill people suffering from advanced cancer and other life-limiting illnesses, and cares for their families with warmth and sensitivity. Services provided include inpatient, outpatient, home care, and wound care.
Orthodox rabbis are on staff and frequently called for advice.
