SKA girls beam Shabbaton smiles

Posted

The junior class of the Stella K. Abraham High School for Girls enjoyed an amazing Shabbaton filled with ruach and achdut last weekend in Woodmere, with all of the “out of towners” happily hosted by Woodmere students.

A delicious Friday night meal was hosted at the Blue Shul and the girls were honored to have Mr. and Mrs. Mallin and several madrichot join them.

SKA thanks the Farkas family for opening up their home for Friday night davening and oneg after the meal.

Seudat Shlishit was enjoyed at the Stavsky home where the girls were joined by Head of School Helen Spirn and AP biology teacher Mrs. Tannenbaum, and heard divrei Torah from Rabbi Aryeh Lightstone.

This wonderful Shabbaton was facilitated by Grade Level Advisers Ms. Stavsky, Ms. Balk and Mrs. Shmulewitz, and Rabbi Zakutinsky, Mrs. Storch, Mrs. Kaminetsky, Mrs. Mallin, Ms. Leichtung and the school’s madrichot.
