Learning about civilizations, at HAFTR

HAFTR sixth graders learned about working together and how civilizations were started. Their classes were divided intro three groups and had to work together to achieve the best outcome.

The first group had to successfully move water from the “lake” (a bucket) to their town (a cup) using only a spoon. The others created shelter for their civilization and hunted and gathered food hidden around the classroom.
