HANC Bat Mitzvah event

Sixth Grade girls at HANC’s Samuel & Elizabeth Bass Golding Elementary School, in West Hempstead, led by Morah Jacobs, culminated a year-long Bat Mitzvah program with a special Mother-Daughter-Grandmother program.

The event featured a song and dance performance by the girls, a video presentation of activities the class did throughout the year, simcha dancing and a craft project that the girls did with their mothers and grandmothers.

The craft project focused on the Bat Mitzvah program’s theme of “V’asu Li Mikdash” and the idea that we all create a place for Hashem inside of ourselves by working on our middot.
