Giovanni love at Kulanu

Kulanu Academy students joined the cause to raise awareness of those who have lost their lives due to anaphylaxis, a severe whole-body allergic reaction to a chemical that has become an allergen, by participating in the 1st Annual Worldwide “Love Remembers Day.”

The Five Towns gathered on March 30 to remember Giovanni Cipriano, who died due to an allergic reaction to peanuts. Teal and gold ribbons were tied around trees in memory of those whose lives were lost by anaphylactic reactions.

Kulanu students adorned the fence surrounding their building, located at 620 Central Ave. in Cedarhurst with teal and gold ribbons marking this critical health issue. Kulanu’s building and all of its programs are peanut and nut-free.
