Druze soldiers visit HAFTR

HAFTR High School hosted three former IDF Druze soldiers last Thursday. The soldiers told students of the bond that the Druze community has with the Jewish nation and of their devotion to the State of Israel.

Druze soldiers have participated in every war fought by Israel and they are an integral part of Israel’s security. They’ve formed the Druze Veterans Association whose efforts promote the interests both of the veterans and of the broader Israeli society.

HAFTR’s Hebrew Language teacher, Ms. Mia Rubin, facilitated the soldiers visit.
