As part of the Adopt-A-Survivor project, eighth graders at Yeshiva Darchei Torah met, interviewed and absorbed the life stories of a group of Holocaust survivors, including the great-grandparents of some students.
Boys at the Far Rockaway school pledged to keep those stories alive by retelling them to future generations. They recently presented PowerPoints, videos and dioramas to an audience of survivors, parents and grandparents.
