Several hundred opportunity-hungry New York area residents flocked to Manhattan’s Metropolitan Pavilion on Sunday to check out living and working opportunities in 56 Orthodox-friendly American cities (and, through Nefesh B’Nefesh, more in Israel), at the Orthodox Union’s sixth Jewish Community Fair.

Not everyone can afford to live in Flatbush, Great Neck, the Upper West Side, or the Five Towns (to mention just a few of the popular, and often expensive, Orthodox-friendly venues in and around New York City. The diverse communities at Sunday’s OU fair offered alternatives.
