YACHAD visits the HANC Middle School

The HANC Middle School welcomed members from YACHAD for a pre-Chanukah program on Sunday.

The event began with an ice breaker in which the volunteers said their names and a characteristic, such as “My name is … and I live in West Hempstead.”

Next, the group moved around between four different stations with such Chanukah-related activities as forming sand art in the shape of a menorah, painting and building menorahs.

There was also music and dreidel games. The YACHAD members were given two prizes on their way out as a thank you for coming.
