SKA and DRS welcome freshmen, class of 2020

SKA: Anticipating starting at a new school can be intimidating, but not for the incoming freshmen of SKA’s Class of 2020. The warmth, camaraderie and enthusiasm displayed during SKA’s Yom Chaveru was outstanding, as girls from various elementary schools bonded over such team-building activities as “Turn and Talk” and “Egg Drop,” and enjoyed a delicious lunch and ice cream cones.

DRS: Starting High School can be a scary and nervous experience, but not for DRS’s incoming ninth grade boys (helow). Ninety-six participated in DRSs annual Yom Achdut. Hailing from 15 different elementary schools, they will make up the largest grade in the school’s history.
